2004-2005 Career Cruiser
The
2004-2005 Career Cruiser
is a career planning magazine that is designed to help middle school
students learn about careers and to begin to think about their future. The
Career Cruiser
is brought to
you by the Florida Department of Education, Workforce Education. The
Career Cruiser
includes an
interest checklist, occupational descriptions with average earnings and educational requirements, plus
many student activities. In addition, students can learn about budgeting, learning styles, decision making,
and planning strategies.
The
2004-2005 Career Cruiser
will be distributed directly to each middle school. Each school will
receive enough
Career Cruisers
for its eighth grade students. A limited number will be available if
schools need additional copies.
A
Teacher’s Guide
will be sent separately to the contact designated for each school. This document is
also available online at www.myfloridaeducation.com/workforce.
