SUBJECT: INVITATION TO “HEALTH PROMOTING SCHOOLS” WORKSHOP
The Office of Safe and Health Schools, Coordinated School Health Program (CSHP) HIV/AIDS
Project, in cooperation with Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F) and the
National Middle School Association (N.M.S.A.), is offering
Health Promoting Schools
, a two-
day workshop, Monday and Tuesday, October 18–19, 2004, in Tampa, Florida. This workshop
will help middle school educators develop or improve coordinated school health programs that
address the prevention of health risks for adolescents, with emphasis on preventing human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and substance abuse.

workshop is supported through funding from

for team participation must be submitted to C.H.E.F. by September 20, 2004.
