Faith and Community-Based Advisory Council

 

The following is to notify each of you about the Florida Department of Education’s Faith and

Community-Based Advisory Council. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to engage in fact-finding,

information gathering and reporting on how the Department may strengthen the partnership between

school districts and faith-based and community-based non-profit organizations; offer additional resources

to families so they can help their children achieve Florida’s rigorous academic standards; and provide

faith-based and community-based organizations with tools that will enable them to promote family

involvement in their communities.

 

Attached is a list of the Faith and Community-Based Advisory Council members. I hope that you will
