These products reflect the changes in the FCAT waiver requirements, effective for the 2003-2004 school
year. They are intended to help educators and parents identify ways to support the achievement of
students with disabilities in the classroom, to increase participation of students with disabilities in the
FCAT, as well as to facilitate an increase in the numbers of students with disabilities attainment of a
standard high school diploma.
Copies of the Accommodations books are being distributed to district superintendents, exceptional
student education directors, and district assessment coordinators at this time. A Clearinghouse
Information Center order form is included with this mailing so that you may order the amount necessary
to meet your district’s needs. The products are also available online at
http://www.firn.edu/doe/commhome/fcatasd.htm.
