    SUBJECT:
Follow up information regarding Transcript Transmissions for FACTS.org
This memo is a follow-up to the notice sent 10/17/03 in reference to submitting transcripts to the Bright Futures
Scholarship System in support of the
High School Academic Evaluations on FACTS.org.
    Several issues have
been raised concerning the attached chart that reported each districts’ submitted transcripts by student classification.
The chart indicated the number of transcripts that had been
    correctly submitted, received
    ,
    and loaded
    into the
system. If the number of transcripts identified by the chart for your district does not match your records, there are
several possibilities for the discrepancies. Please review the following trouble-shooting scenarios.
    1.
    ?
Transcripts submitted with incorrect values for
    Addressed School
are not counted. The correct values are:
    Freshmen 0770; Sophomores 0670; Juniors 0570; Seniors 0470.
    2.
    ?
Transcripts submitted without 2003-2004 courses/courses in progress are not counted as being correctly
transmitted. Updated academic information for the current academic year must be included.
    3.
    ?
To confirm the correct number of transcripts for each classification (Frosh, Soph, Jr, Sr), review the final
page of your district’s Cumulative Evaluation Report.
    4.
    ?
A small percentage of transcripts received by the districts were not loaded into the system as of the date of
the attached report/chart. This information also appeared in the previous memo. Information on the
chart/report was current as of October 15, 2003.
If you have further questions regarding the submission of transcripts, please review the
    Instructions for Submitting
    Transcripts
attached to this memo. Technical questions regarding the submission of transcripts should be
    addressed to Dianne Cox, Dianne.Cox@fldoe.org, (850) 245-9754; (SC) 205-9754.
