SUBJECT:
“Un-Served” Students Survey –
Deadline ASAP
Per Dr. Theresa Klebacha’s presentation to you at the Council of Presidents meeting last Friday,
attached is a short survey on the issue of students who were potentially “turned away” this fall
due to shortages of instructors and/or classrooms. It’s important that we can accurately describe
the impact of policy decisions on our students and classrooms.
The intent of the survey is to get a better understanding of this population of students, based on
your best assessment of your college’s situation. Our recent conversations with some of you
suggest there are a variety of ways to assess this impact, based on your methods of enrollment
estimating and planning. Please complete the survey with your best estimate of impact based on
your methods, and describe those methods so we can get a clear picture of the issue.
