Fall Leadership Conference
We are pleased to announce the 2003 Fall Leadership Conference to be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in
Tallahassee, Florida, on October 20-21, 2003. As the new K-12 Chancellor and former Marion County
School Superintendent, I am happy to be kicking off the conference at 1:00 p.m. on October 20. The
target audience is district-level volunteer coordinators, family and parental involvement coordinators,
Title I parent liaisons, business partner coordinators and community involvement coordinators.
A block of rooms is being held at the DoubleTree Hotel and reservations must be made before Friday,
October 10, 2003, in order to obtain the special room rate of $89.00 for single or double occupancy. The
hotel is located at 101 Adams Street, Tallahassee Florida. You may make your hotel reservation by
