SUBJECT: 2003-2004 Speech/Language Weekends with the Experts
The Florida Department of Education, K-12, Bureau of Instructional Support and Community
Services is pleased to announce the 31
st
annual Speech/Language Weekends with the Experts.
The program provides speech/language pathologists working in public schools with an
opportunity for continuing education by bringing experts from around the country to Florida.
This year’s Weekends with the Experts program is being co-sponsored with the Florida
Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) Project and the Teacher Initiative in
Deaf Education Project.
Since there is no registration fee for the workshop, each school district will be allowed to register
a given number of therapists, as determined by district size. This process will provide an
opportunity for all school districts in Florida to participate. Registrations will only be accepted
from the speech/language coordinators in each school district. Please ensure that the coordinator
completes and returns the enclosed forms with the requested information for each participant to

districts that indicated the need for additional participants on their registration.
