2003-2004 Technology Education Labs
The Florida Department of Education, Office of Workforce Education, announces the availability of
instructions and forms for preparing the application for funding the 2003-2004 Technology Education Labs
under the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-332). The
purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to upgrade existing and/or develop new modular or
traditional technology education labs in middle schools that will assure advancing excellence in
technological literacy.
Eligible applicants (Public School Districts) are encouraged to apply for $20,000-$40,000 discretionary
competitive awards on or before Friday, September 26, 2003. It should be noted that this award requires an
equal fiscal match.
