Educator Certification Process – Process Re-engineering Project Update

Your feedback and input are essential as we make improvements to the Educator Certification Process. The survey

sent to you on March 10 represents one of the approaches we are using to gauge perception and solicit comments

regarding various elements of the process important to users. Since we have now received completed surveys from

62 of the 67 districts, we have sufficient data to share with you. This information is being provided to you in two

attachments:

Attachment 1: % Strongly Agree and Agree for each Survey Statement.

Attachment 2: Average Score for each Survey Statement (on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being “Strongly Agree”

and 1 being “Strongly Disagree.”

There were also hundreds of written comments and suggestions pertaining to the process. We are evaluating,

grouping, and determining effectiveness and feasibility for each one. I will send you the results of this analysis in a

few weeks.
