Century Community Learning Centers Program
Your district, agency, or organization is invited to participate in the upcoming 21
st
Century Community
Learning Centers (CCLC) televised State Bidder's Conference. The purpose of the conference is to
provide participants with background information and support in writing and submitting a Request for
Proposal (RFP) for the 21
st
CCLC program. Additionally, the conference will assist with specific
requirements for the RFP, DOE priorities, focus recommendations for proposals, state and federal
resources that are available, and networking.
Please be advised that the Bidder's Conferences that were previously planned for March 17 - Tallahassee;
March 19 - Orlando; and March 21 - Miami, have been changed. The Department will now be hosting one
televised Bidder's Conference on March 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There is no registration for this
teleconference and no fee for attending. However, it will be each participant’s responsibility to find a site within
your community that has teleconference capability to view the conference. Please stay tuned to the Florida

If you have already registered for one of the Bidder's Conferences listed above, you will automatically receive
this information via fax or e-mail as soon as it becomes available. Also, please note that the RFP has not been
released, but it will be posted very soon. If you have questions regarding 21
st
CCLC or the upcoming Bidder's
Conference, please contact Christy Manuel at (850) 488-5012 or e-mail at Christy.Manuel@fldoe.org.
Participants will be allowed to ask general questions via telephone or fax during the teleconference, and
staff will respond accordingly as time permits. All questions and responses will be posted on the 21
st
CCLC website within three business days of when it is received, and they will be available to all
interested participants to assist in writing a proposal.
There will not be any questions accepted after
April 14, 2003.
