PROGRESSION PLANS FOR 2005-2006
The K-20 Strategic Plan of the State Board of Education is structured around priorities,
objectives and projects that target meeting and exceeding Florida's state education mission and
goals. In order to accomplish this, the State Board included a priority project to monitor district
promotion activities for Strategic Imperative 2 to set, align and apply academic curricular and
testing standards.
The Department plans to pilot the student progression web-based system in March 2006. Those
districts that chose to participate will have an opportunity to participate in a peer review and
provide feedback that allows the Department to refine the system for the 2006-2007 school year.

assistance for the web-based reporting system and protocol for the peer review process.
