The following rates of reimbursement for the Summer Food Service Program are effective January 1,
2006, through December 31, 2006. The maximum reimbursement rate per meal is as follows:

Annually, the United States Department of Agriculture informs the public of the adjustments to the
reimbursement rates for meals served in the Summer Food Service Program for Children. The above
reimbursement rates represent a 3.2 percent increase during 2005 in the food-away-from-home series
of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, from 189.6 in November 2004 to 195.6 in
November 2005.
